Spring Has Sprung—Now it’s Time for a Little HVAC Maintenance

As the temps (slowly) warm up, you may be thinking about knocking a few items off your spring cleaning and home maintenance check list. It’s a great time to add your home’s comfort system to that list!

Spring is a great time to ensure your HVAC system, furnace, or air conditioner is working as efficiently as possible, saving you money and keep your home as comfy as can be.

Change Your Media Filter

Did you know a clean filter can help you cut energy usage by as much as 15 percent? Changing your HVAC filter is a simple process that can literally be done in a matter of minutes. Even better? We’ve got your filter in stock, ready to ship! Shop our extensive list of media filters here.

Clean Around Your AC Compressor

As the weather gets warmer, take a moment to check your AC compressor (the big cube on the outside of your home). Be on the look out for growth or debris blocking the compressor and be sure the drainage hole is clear as well. This small hole needs to be kept clean for your AC to operate as intended. A good way to clean it is with a small piece of wire or a bent paperclip.
