Let CTR Take Care of Your Under-Warranty Repair
Did you know that CTR Heating & Air Conditioning can help with warranty repairs? It’s true! We can service your under-warranty equipment and even help you navigate the claim process for your warranty.
Here’s how it works:
First, give us a call or use our convenient online scheduling tool to set up an appointment.
We’ll do a complete diagnosis and provide you with an estimate, including any parts that may be under warranty.
When we complete the work, we only bill you for labor and any parts that may fall outside of warranty coverage. Those will be outlined up front so there are no surprises or hidden costs.
We’ll submit all the warranty paperwork and cover the cost of any warrantied parts.
Once the warranty claim is processed, we get reimbursed directly, keeping things simple and affordable for you.
Here are some commonly asked questions about warranty repairs:
Q: Why do I have pay for labor?
A: Most manufacturers only cover the actual equipment. When a covered part fails, they will replace that part, but the labor to diagnose, remove, and reinstall the part typically fall outside of the warranty. When you trust CTR Heating & Air Conditioning to help you with warranty repairs, we do everything in our power to keep extra expenses to a minimum. Our non-commissioned technicians will work efficiently to keep the labor costs for your project as low as possible.
Q: Why are some parts covered and other parts excluded from the warranty?
A: Just like brakes or windshield wipers on a car, there are components on an HVAC system that are expected to be replaced regularly as part of proper maintenance. Filters are in this category and should be changed regularly. Certain capacitors and contactors (electrical components used for the start/stop operations) could fall in this category as well. We’ll work closely with you and help you understand what items might be considered maintenance items and therefore excluded from your warranty.
Q: Will I have to pay up front for my warranty parts?
No! We will cover the costs of any warrantied parts and will work directly with the manufacturer or supply for reimbursement.
